Any chance we'll see some of these Carta materials in Logos? I always see these at SBL and think "wow, those are great visuals."

Or perhaps The Sacred Bridge?

I'd just like to add my small voice in support of adding Carta resources to the Faithlife library.

I added the recent Carta volumes 'Echos from the Past' and 'Raging Torrent' from A-Company. Both are in-depth on inscriptions, and the images, transcriptions, and commentary are great. They're so good, I have to order extra sushi to continue reading.
I have to order extra sushi to continue reading.
I like sushi too but I'd prefer to eat mine while using Carta with Logos.
Ha. Oh so true. I wonder what the Cartesian issue is, it's been going on so long.
I'm reading http://www.amazon.com/Social-History-Hebrew-Rabbinic-Reference-ebook/dp/B00GGSFZW8 which is an Anchor-Yale and is enjoyable to zoom in on the Carta images to see exactly what is being discussed.

I wonder too. It has been a long time.
There you go gloating!
I don't understand how Accordance can work out a deal to offer these resources, but Logos can't. I own the Sacred Bridge in Accordance, but I would buy it again if it became available in Logos. I just don't like using Accordance as much as Logos, plus of course I have most of my other resources in Logos.
Joseph,
From what I've heard from publishers, Logos's price model is sometimes prohibitive for smaller publishers - it is why Kregel doesn't sell with Logos, the amount Kregel gets when selling items on Logos is too low for their liking. Perhaps it is the same here.

I agree, but Logos should be able to work something out. Also, Kregel is now releasing titles in Logos.
ah, thanks forgetting me up to speed :-)

My spare vote, yes.
Thanks for helping the cause!
Any updates so far? [A]
+1 I would buy this..
Any updates so far?
I've been wondering the same thing the past few weeks.
I went to the Uservoice link listed above - https://prepub.uservoice.com/forums/183407-general/suggestions/3718024-add-books-from-carta to check on where things stand and it appears to not be working right now.
Anyone know what the problem is?
This looks so good I will probably buy it off Amazon in a few weeks unless we hear something from Logos on it..
I love this site as I am learning about all kinds of books I never even knew about..
Ahhhh my wallet is getting thin....
There is a Book Suggestions site at https://suggestbooks.uservoice.com/forums/308269-book-suggestions/filters/new
(I thought all the existing prepub suggestions had been moved over, but I don't see this one.)

Something strange seems to be going on for the link used to work fine. Can you check into this Bradley?

I'm not sure why these are being voted on (though I added 3 votes), as I thought Logos' policy was to attempt to procure everything possible. Surely the Carta materials would be something for which Logos would be striving in particular, especially since these materials are already available in a competitor's library.
Just gave 3 votes..

Thanks Randy. I added my votes but you should not have had to do this for there was a suggestion made before that had lots of votes. I'm not sure what happened.
I totally agree with you Joseph. This should have been available in Logos years ago but there must be some sort of issue in the negotiation process. If enough of us express our desire to have this in Logos perhaps there would be a renewed effort to negotiate something.
There is a new second Edition one.

Those of us who owned it in Accordance were lucky enough to get the free upgrade to the second edition...
It is a wonderful resource, I hope Logos can get Carta resources for all their users.
-Dan
I have the hard-back copy of the first edition, but would gladly buy the second edition if it came out in Logos.

I keep dreaming of one day having this in my Logos library. [S]
Me too! I cast my 3 votes. I've considered getting Accordance just for this resource.
Same here. I have the hard copy, but I want a Logos edition. There are SO many Carta resources that would so useful if we had them in Logos.

Given that it is now seven years since you posted this, I think it might be safe to say "not in our lifetime" [:(]

I still choose to be optimistic about Faithlife carrying these someday but I understand and share in your disappointment that it has not taken place yet.
I wish that there was something more we/I could do to facilitate this happening.

I know! Me too! It is ONLY the maps/Carta that are tempting me to try out Accordance. I have waited so long for Logos to have good maps, but it just hasn't happened. Hopefully it will soon.
The latest update from Faithlife (from Phil Gons) was posted here a few months ago: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/148035/921322.aspx#921322
So, Bradley, what is the latest? That's been 3 months ago.
Thanks for pointing this out. Somehow I missed that update. I really do hope something can be worked out.
I know as much as you.
(But I'm guessing if Phil didn't come back and post "yes", the answer is "no".)
If the answer is “no,” wouldn’t it be better for Phil to let us know that, rather than unnecessarily prolonging our wait for something that still wouldn’t be available in Logos?
I’d think we’d all prefer knowing one way or the other (or even an update that he’s still trying to work something out).
Thanks!
I’m extremely happy with the graphics the other software offers and the way CARTA products were done with extreme care, so I’m fine and at peace now if Logos chooses not to carry these resources 👍😁👌
DAL
Just get it in Accordance...they do a way better job with graphic resources by a long shot

Yes, sorry, I shouldn't speculate/guess like that.
It's more likely that he just has no news to share yet.
While the graphics are better in the other software, I’ve held off on buying a second bible study program.
I hope FL will improve graphics, not only to do justice to resources like CARTA, but also give us less reasons to look and buy elsewhere.
I think we’re talking apples and oranges here?
Carta’s maps (the detailed ones) are 4-color. Not pretty, but detailed. Amazon has previews. My impression Carta’s really nice ones are hard-copy wall maps.
Hi-res is on the picture media; I just upgraded during their sale.

I agree, but it is an option to for you to get in Accordance...because maybe Logos will never get Carta stuff or improve their graphics? I hope they do though

In general, Accordance blows away Logos out of the water...as far as any picture heavy resources go

I really don't want a 2nd Bible study program
I'm very much with you on that and so I continue to wait for CARTA in Logos.

I also agree.
Ten years ago I was planning to have all the three top Bible study programs. One reason was that I could be a helpdesk for all the users nearby. I did not have enough money (fortunately) and it also turned out that most theology students nowadays know more about computing than I do.
I also have a Finnish Bible study programs with Finnish content, and I feel its user interface is awkward. (The content is great, though, I hope someone could infiltrate that content to Logos some day)
Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but four-color is true of their Bible Atlas. The Sacred Bridge, The Quest, and many other map-heavy and image-rich resources of theirs are much more colorful.
