Nelson Electronic Reference Library - Professional Edition

The Lucado Life Works Library

These work on a 64 bit computer with Windows Vista.

Is there any way that the Nelson Electronic Reference Library - Professional Edition will work with Libronix? I am confused a little bit, there is Logos, eBible, Libronix, and the old Nelson Electronic Library. Then there is Logos Bible Software 4, and I see Nelson Ministry Services and eBible selling some of the same books I already have on my Nelson Electronic Library. Is everyone in the act of just trying to make money like Bill Gates with a new Windows every few years. The bottom line is this question, is there anyway that the Nelson Electronic Bible will work with Libronix? It seems unfair that I have to buy the same books again from Nelson and unlock them on eBible. Or buy Logos Bible Software 4? That have many of the same Bibles I already have, or some of the same books.

You never have to buy Logos/Libronix (including Nelson titles) titles more than once.

Blame Nelson for muddying the water. Their products are all Logos compatible and use the Logos3/Libronix engine but also work in Logos 4. Regardless of what they call their 'software' it is simply Libronix (or Logos 4) with their name on it (eBible).

All Logos 3 and Logos 4 products work in all versions of Windows from XP up. All Logos resources work in Logos 3 and Logos 4. So if you like Logos 3/Libronix, then stick with it. All your resources will work in the current version of Logos 3/Libronix which is 3.0g. If you are running Windows 7 then you must download and use Logos 3.0g. Resources that have been updated to the new Logos 4 format will not work in Logos 3, but because Logos (therefore also Nelson under license from them) guarantees backward compatibility, there are Logos 3 compatible versions of all the Logos 4 resources (except for those created just for Logos 4 like the new Interlinears, the new Biblical People, and similar items.). Since Nelson does not produce any Logos 4 only resources, all their resources will work in Logos 3 or have a version that does.

As others have said, the bottom line is you do not and never will have to re-buy a resource.

Just be sure to register your software so Logos has a record of it. That way you won't have problems if you lose the disc or install codes. (In the old days it was possible to run software without registering it.)

I just got a new laptop with Windows 10 and I can't make it download. I love the software, but I really don't want to buy it again. I have all of the professional edition and I love it, but I would love to have it on my new computer. How do I get there??

Which version of Logos Bible Software do you have (Libronix, Logos 4, Logos 5, Logos 6)? Did you buy directly from Logos/Faithlife, or did you buy a package from another source?

Call Logos customer service. They will get it going for you. You can use those resources in Logos 6, if you can run the Logos 6 free program. But Customer service will have authorize your license. You will need some technical assistance. Give them a call.
