Table of contents for books in android app (not the bible)
Hi,
Last Sunday I needed to go to a particular hymn from the hymnal book. On the computer is easy because I can expand or collapse the table of contents as needed. How do you get the table of contents for a book in the app?. I'm not talking about the table of content feature for the bible, I talking about the TOC for a book.

By the way, I had to resort to use the search function but by the time that I finish with all the fingering contortion on the touch screen the congregation had already finished singing the hymn. [*-)]

It was Himnario Bautista de la Gracia https://www.logos.com/resources/LLS_HMNRBTSTDLGRC/el-himnario-bautista-de-la-gracia (sorry that's spanish).
But anyway, that was the case in that particular moment. I will like to know how to get the TOC in the app for any book.

Wait now I see... silly me, sorry.
It seems that you didn't provide a TOC for that hymnal in the app. But there is one in the computer version. So it seems that some books have TOC for the app and others don't right?

Ok it seems that Logos provided TOC for all english books but not for books in spanish. I use Logos in english and didn't realize that issue. FYI when I touch the title of the book in spanish what I get is the library. For books in english I get the TOC.

I see what's going on.
In my device (Android Lollipop 5.0), if I tap the title (the heading not the title on a "page"), of any english book, I get the TOC automatically. Doing the same thing on a spanish resources get me to the library instead.
But you didn't tap on the title heading, you tap on the "page" of the book and then you get an icon bar from where you selected the TOC icon. Doing the same thing on the spanish book I was able to get the icon bar as well, with the option menu icon (3 dots on top of each other), and the TOC icon. Very good! that works for me.
The only difference is that the icon bar on the spanish book didn't have the favorite, add note and share icon. For that I had to tap on the option menu icon. That's the only difference.

This will look different depending on the screen ratio and size of the device. I'm glad it's working now.!
