Links Still Only Open to First Verse of Chapter

I hate to be an annoyance, but this is still an issue. When I tweet using ref.ly the links open to the first verse and never the actually verse, unless of course the link is intended to be the first verse. This is primarily and issue on the iPhone. It works on my computer in Firefox now. Haven't tried IE.

Kevin I have got the same problem with the verses on our church website. I used Serif Webplus 10 to do the site, and for some reason only the first verse comes up for each passage of scripture. Kevin: I'm not sure I understand. Is the issue that Bible.logos.com is not displaying the correct verse when you follow refly links from your iphone? Is this only a problem with the mobile version of Bible.logos.com?

Stuart: I think you're having a different problem. RefTagger is not picking up the reference ranges and lists on your site. This is happening because you have wbr html tags in between the verses. Your html looks like:

<span>Rom 1:20-<wbr />22</span>

Note the wbr interrupting the reference range. wbr tells the browser that it can break the word onto a separate line at that location if the word does not fit on the current line. You will need to remove these tags for the ranges to work correctly.

The issue is that when I am on my iphone and i see a refly link that is something other than to the first verse of a chapter (example: John 3:16 instead of John 3:1) and I tap the link, it opens it up on Bible.Logos.com at John 3:1 instead of John 3:16.

Many thanks for that Brian- I have investigated further and every time Webplus10 sees a '-' sign it automatically puts in the <wbr> command. Unfortunately the program will not allow you to alter this code in any way- you can only add extra html routines to the existing code. Any suggestions on a way around this without getting Serif to re-write the program?

I've just managed to find out how to sort this problem in Webplus10 just in case anyone else has this software, and it is now working fine. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction with this Brian. You basically go into the 'file' menu on Webplus, select 'site properties' from the menu, and then 'options' and then you simply uncheck the 'Write<WBR>tags for hyphens' box. It's as simple as that.
