Ever since I upgraded to Logos 6 (Mac), when I do a search of bible text, it will often crash (no message - just quits).
Help?
What version of Logos 6 software are you running?
Please provide details of the search you are doing - what are you searching for in what resource so Mac users can see if they can reproduce it
And please enable diagnostic logging and post logs after a crash - details at https://www.logos.com/support/logos6/mac/report-problem
Logos Bible Software 6.5 SR-16.5.0.0044
Searching my "top bibles" list (ESV; NIV84; NRSV; NKJV; YLT)
Any simple search may trigger it.
I did attach the log zip file, but I can't see it in my post. I'll try again.

The log suggest the problem is with the ESV - it may have become corrupt (although I think I have seen something similar reported earlier)
If you try a search not including the ESV does that work correctly?
If so, I would suggest downloading a new version of the ESV and seeing if that resolves things. You do this by "hiding" your current copy and then "restoring" it. Details at https://wiki.logos.com/Hiding_Books
This is a crash we're actively investigating. We don't currently have a fix, but you should be able to work around it by searching within "All Passages" instead of limiting your search to the NT (or any other passage range).
OK. Thanks.
Are you still investigating this crashing problem? I'm still having to do my searches without limiting the passage range.
Does appending WITHIN {Milestone <passage range>} work, whilst still using "All Passages" e.g.
wisdom WITHIN {Milestone <Col-Rev>}
Alternatively, you can use a Basic Search with "Bible Text" instead of "All Text".
Yes Dave,
At your suggestion, I just did a search WITHIN {milestone} .... and it worked. Thanks for the work around. I do hope they fix the problem soon though.

Michael
