If I purchased a resource, downloaded it and then returned it, do I have to manually remove it from my hard drive? I always see the "no longer have access to this resource" page but does that mean it has been removed by Logos?
The licence will have been revoked - so you won't see the resource any more in your Library - but the file is probably still on your hard drive.
To remove it, you can use the "delete unlicensed resources" command in the Command box (introduced in Logos 6.4)
