Journal Book Review Search

Journals have many excellent book reviews--probably the best, most trustworthy out there. What ideas do we have to...

1. peruse only book reviews from multiple journals - perhaps some way to create a list?

2. find only a book review of a title within journals

Seems like there might be some tagging or search method that would make this simple and useful.

Interesting. On a related note, I kind of wish we could have a "Mytag" option for sections of resources. On the other hand, I'd probably never have time to do that, especially since I haven't added resource tags as deeply as I'd like to.

I think this is something FL should address. I, too, use journals for this information. It would really help for FL to tag reviews and let us search just within reviews.

Agreed. Recognizing the work that this would entail I would support placing projects like this into community pricing - sure many may not contribute, but if the project attracts sufficient support it should recieve priority. I would then expect future journal resources to include this tagging from the start.

I've never seen a feature like that pre-pubed or put on community pricing since if implemented everyone would get the feature, not just those who paid for it.

Agreed on starting now, then working on the backlog.

Faithlife has upgraded many resources with additional tagging over the past year. I am hopeful they will see the value of adding this at some time and will find a way to do it without huge expense.
