You Gotta Love the "Cloud"!

I've back up and running after a new hard drive installation, and all it took was running the Logos setup and logging in, and the software did all the rest. Apart from one or two settings, everything is as it was a few days ago when my old HD went the way of all technology

You mean you did not have to find all your dozens of CDs and insert them one at a time to get the features to be installed that were specific to some of those collections or resources, and then use Location Manager to transfer those resource files to your hard drive, hoping you hadn't misplaced or forgotten a disk because then even though you had a license for that resource it would never show up in your library and you wouldn't know you were supposed to have it but didn't, and then you didn't have to run Update to be sure you had the latest copies of your resources and download the ones that were out-of-date but that you had to load anyway for Logos to be able to know what you were supposed to have???

Very nice, isn't it? A plus for the 'cloud' and thanks to Logos for making installation and re-installation so much less of a problem.

I understand your meaning, but the physical installation is not so simple for everybody! I agree that the potential loss of user data & preferences is much improved by L4.

Great run-on sentence, Mark! It captures exactly what it was like when I reinstalled Libronix on my computer last Fall after Windows crashed. It's so much easier now.
