Is there a major difference between Logos 5, Logos 6 and Logos Now?

Just get the Logos 6 free engine. If u really want to add LOGOS NOW, u can do that too. Logos 5 will not be supported anymore if i am correct.
Just found out that if you subscribe to Logos Now the Logos 6 engine will be downloaded automatically. So since I just recently subscribed to Logos Now I now have the 6 engine.
Logos 6 free engine is great but you don't get alot of the data sets that comes with the packages. Check them out. data sets really makes up the essence of logos 6.

Since the the software is continuing to be developed at all times, if you don't keep up to date, you may notice a "major" difference between .x builds. The software, however, continues to build upon itself. Logos 6 is based on Logos 5, which is based on Logos 4.
Logos "now" is a service. A <part> of that service is early access to features (and datasets) which will come out in Logos 7. Early access, however, is only a part of the service.
FL has used the example of Amazon Prime to help clarify how Logos Now is a service. With Amazon Prime, you get free, "two day" shipping on most items. Is that what Amazon Prime is? Yes, but it is much more. It is also free streaming movies. Free kindle books each month. Free special discounts and promotions, etc.
Logos Now is not an application, so it doesn't make sense to ask "is there a major difference between Logos 5, Logos 6 and Logos Now."
The engine is always free. One of the requirements to run some of the newest "Logos Now" features is to have the newest engine downloaded. You must continue to download the newest engine to have access to the new features as they are released in Logos Now.
Aren't newer engines always downloaded automatically if not how does one get them?
My wife has a Windows laptop but prefers her 2006 iMac. I think the CPU is limited to Logos 4 but I am not sure. I tried upgrading to Logos 6 but it did not take.
If you have Logos Now, and a previous base package, you may want to check out the Feature Crossgrade for dynamic pricing in order to get all of the L6 datasets.
No, they aren't downloaded automatically if it's a major update, like from Logos 4 to 5 or from 5 to 6.
One reason may be that the new engine may have system requirements greater than the computer a person is running. For example, Logos 6 requires at least Windows 7 or OS 10.10 in order to run.

Only on a per-series (I guess that's what I'll call it) basis. If you have L5, your automatic updates will only include L5 updates. L6 is the same.
