Can you explain more? Provide screen shots?
It is a devotional book that has set days for the reading plan that look like as follows.
My input to set it up to read each days readings looks like below.
Then the side view of my Logos desktop home page shows this.
With the first daily reading looking like this.
I am not sure how to get it set to where it starts at November 5th.
Just open the book to November 5 and read today's reading. It does not take a reading plan for a devotional book. Better yet, prioritize the devotional and it will show up on your home page every day and you can read it from there. If you think you need a reading plan, then use the one already created and you will read the book in a year, just not from today's date like you want.
Where did the first screen shot come from? I don't see a calendar devotional in the last screen shot, but simply "day one."
Is this a logos or Vyrso edition resource?
Let me speak more broadly. There are ways to "trick" reading plans, but it takes craftiness on your part. For starters, you can't "begin" the reading plan today in a devotional if you want the 200th reading to start today. Instead, figure out when 200 days ago was and start the plan. Things like this require trial and error.
The first screen shot came from within the book. This is a Logos resource it is one of the 365 days with Spurgeon that comes with the reformed Gold. I can always just open the resource daily. Just having it on the side would be convenient.
The first screen shot came from within the book.
I gathered that. What I meant is "where" in the book did it come from? Your last screen shot shows a "reading", but I don't see a date indicated. Does that come further below? Normally you would have the date and title at the top, but that doesnt appear to be the case from what I have seen.
Just having it on the side would be convenient.
You can try what I suggested above. If you get stuck, provide us details and we can try to help you figure it out.
I don't have the book in question but have others from the series. They are calendar devotionals and should be treated as per TIP of the day: Setting up a daily devotional
