BUG: Open Parallel resource and it opens it in a different pane
You can see a video showing the bug here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uz1e0f9iag5b2k7/Logos%20Parallel%20Bug.mov?dl=0
I have two different Bibles in two different panels. One is the ESV and the other the NASB. On the NASB, I used the parallels to open the NKJV. It opens as expected. I then switch that panel back to the NASB. Then I switch to the ESV panel. On that panel I used the parallel tool to open the NKJV. Instead of the ESV panel switching it changes the NASB panel to the NKJV. Then from the ESV panel I select the NIV from the list of parallels. Again, instead of changing the ESV panel to the parallel it changes the other panel.
Expected behavior is that when you open a parallel, it opens in the same panel that you selected it from.
I'm not sure when this started, but this is the first time I've noticed this behavior.

The video is too blurry to see what is happening, and the initial setup isn't what you describe above.

Hmm. When I look at it, it's clear enough to see what's happening. Here's a vimeo link if it's clearer: https://vimeo.com/144818896 password: logos.
the initial setup isn't what you describe above.
Hmm. What do you think is different from what I described?

I see what's happening. The issue is that, if you have one Bible pane active (note the blue line on the tab) and you click the parallels icon in a different, non-active Bible pane, the parallel Bible opens in the active pane.
Clicking the parallels icon in a different pane should automatically make that pane active, but it doesn't. That's the bug.
The workaround is to click somewhere on the non-active pane before clicking the parallels icon.

Ah.. thanks I hadn't noticed that. Hopefully they will fix the bug to prevent confusion. I couldn't figure out why it was happening.

That would be a Mac bug as it does not occur in Windows.

I can't reproduce this on
Logos Bible Software 6.7
6.7.0.0036
So one way or another hope is on the horizon.

Hmm. That's strange. I'm on the same release and just tried it and the bug is there. You just need two open Bibles and one that is the active panel. Then click the parallels on the panel that is not active. The parallel does not open in the panel that you selected the parallel from, it opens in the other panel.

We can reproduce this in house and will get a case reported. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.
