I just bought a NEW Kindle Fire 7 and a 128GB SD card.  I would like to download the app and books to the SD card and save the 5.5GB of internal memory for mail and Kindle books that have to be in internal memory.  The current app 4.6.5 does not download to SD card and there is no option to Move to SD card.   Other FL apps loaded to the SD Card, when will Bible app?  I want to download for offline use a good portion of my library for all the time access to my research materials and I can't do this until I can load the app and books on to the SD card.

    Sean:

My understanding is that the newer versions of Android do not allow apps to run from the external SD card for security reasons. My phone and tablet (Android 4.4.2 KitKat) seem to automatically (i.e. without my instruction or intervention) store the data to the external SD when applicable.

Faithlife is likely to tell you that the specific act of running an app/data from the external SD card is not a supported (or designed) activity of the Bible app.

Tip:  When posting a specific question like this, it's a good idea to specify which version of Android you're running.

Which other Faithlife apps loaded to the SD Card?

My biggest concern is having the data stored on the SD card, so I have offline access to my library.  The Fire 7 only has 5.5G net storage internally, so it can fill pretty quickly.

Bible Screen loaded to the SD card.

This issue has been previously discussed many times here in the forums: https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=sd%20card%20site%3A%2F%2Fcommunity.logos.com%2Fforums .

This scenario is currently not supported for the Reader Apps.
