Logos 6.7 SR-1 keeps reindexing on every start

Dear all,

I had this problem before the last update. Today I installed version 6.7 SR-1 on Windows 10 and I rebuilt the full index, but the isue is even worse. Attached are logs in case somebody can have a look (I have no idea what to look for): 8400.Logos Log Files.zip

The problem is that the issue is not solved, it is even worse... Logos starts a full indexing and it goes till 73 % and then close the indexer, but it starts again from 0 when retarting Logos. That´s why I posted the logs.

It always seems to reindex the last download. Purchase a Vyrso freebie, and your problem should be a lot less painful.

There is no Indexer log. First enable logging and then upload the compressed log files folder when indexing gets stuck or it gets closed.

The indexer log is not complete, and doesn't indicate any error. Did you upload the log whilst Logos was indexing? Did indexing finish normally after uploading?

Hello again Dave,

The indexer stopped at 57% and it disappeared from the task bar although Logos was still open. It was at 57% more than 1 hour, which is quite strange as I have a SSD and indexing is quite fast.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the issue started when I scanned an external hard disk because the Galaxie journals in LSB format were not added to Logos 6 although the license was valid. I'm speaking about TJL 1-5 in Libronix format (back from 2002 if I'm not wrong). Could this be the problem?

There is no indication of a problem with Galaxie journals.

If you mean the Logos 2.x format (LSF/LIX) just search for files named *.LSF (where * is a wildcard) in your Logos folder below+. Also check the filenames of open Galaxie journals in their Resource information (at the bottom, under Support Info).

+ Resource folder is at C:\Users\Xus\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\hjrcwdhs.2tp\ResourceManager\Resources

Thanks again for replying. I tried to reindex again and the indexer stopped for more than 4 hours in the resource labelled as LLS:MSREFORMSRE.

What I did is to delete Logos 6 and reinstall it from zero during the weekend. I allowed Logos to download all the resources and after indexing, everything is back to normal. I really don´t know what the isue was. I already made a backup of the new installation, just in case.
