Indeed, I would very much like to have the upcoming 5th edition of McGrath's Christian Theology An Introduction as well as current The Christian Theology Reader. Does any one have 4th edition of his Intro and the Reader in paper form? I'm thinking about getting the books since they are not available from Logos.
I am looking for an introductory, academic (but very readable) survey of Christian Theology. I do have the 2nd edition of McGrath's Christian Theology Introduction from 1997.
David
I would like to have works by McGrath also. Especially, Christian Theology: An Introduction. First edition, 1993; second edition, 1997; third edition, 2001; fourth edition, 2006. (Oxford: Blackwell Publishing) and The Christian Theology Reader. First edition, 1995; second edition, 2000; third edition, 2006. (Oxford: Blackwell Publishing).
Also, the following Titles by Mcrath would be good (more popular level than academic level):
The Mystery of the Cross, Zondervan, 1988.
Understanding the Trinity, Zondervan, 1988.
Understanding Jesus, Zondervan, 1987.
What Was God Doing On The Cross, Zondervan, 1992.
just wanting to point out that this collection not only includes the five small books from the "Truth and the Christian Imagination" series that teach theological insights by way of pieces of art, but these books are available individually as well and the one on Incarnation is over 40%-off in the current pre-Christmas sale.
Have joy in the Lord!
Absolutely. His excellent "Christian Theology: An Introduction" (and its companion Reader) has been a key textbook for theological students in the UK for quite a few years.
"Christian Theology: an Introduction" really is a classic. I see that some few books published by Wiley-Blackwell are in PrePub so maybe there's a chance to get this and others by Alister McGrath. This is long overdue - see https://feedback.logos.com/search?term=mcgrath and vote for those you'd like to see in Logos!

Thanks for the plug! I added a bunch of those last night. I was surprised to find that there were not many requests for McGrath's books yet on the feedback site, but those that were there had good interest.
There are more to add from the top of this thread, so I've done them today, except for one obscure one that I didn't think was important to get.
First, these ones are available already:
The Genesis of Doctrine (Blackwell: Oxford, 1990). Second edition: Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1997.
The Renewal of Anglicanism

The Dawkins Delusion? Atheist Fundamentalism and the Denial of the Divine. With Joanna Collicutt McGrath. (London: SPCK, 2007).
https://www.logos.com/product/40515/the-dawkins-delusion
1. Creation (London: SPCK, 2004).
2. Incarnation (London: SPCK, 2005).
3. Redemption (London: SPCK, 2006).
4. Resurrection (London: SPCK, 2007).
These four are all part of Select Works of Alister McGrath (10 vols.), but they're all available individually too:

https://www.logos.com/product/40509/incarnation
https://www.logos.com/product/40510/redemption

(The other one in that series, "God", was eventually published as "The Christian Vision of God" and isn't available in Logos yet, but I've put in a request for it. See below.)
There are existing requests for these ones mentioned in this thread above (some are from my wave of posts last night, but several were older and have garnered more votes already):
Iustitia Dei: History of Justification
The Intellectual Origins of the European Reformation, 2nd ed.
The Foundations of Dialogue in Science and Religion
T F Torrance Intellectual Biography
Dawkins' God: From The Selfish Gene to The God Delusion, 2nd ed.
Reformation Thought: An Introduction, 5th ed
Alister McGrath - Christian Theology: An Introduction
The Christian Theology Reader, 5th edition
Christianity: An Introduction 3rd Edition
Theology: The Basics, 4th edition
Theology: The Basic Readings, 3rd Edition
The Twilight of Atheism: The Rise and Fall of Disbelief in the Modern World
The Blackwell Encyclopedia of Modern Christian Thought
Heresy: A History of Defending the Truth
And here are some new ones to vote for that I just posted today:
Luther’s Theology of the Cross: Martin Luther’s Theological Breakthrough
The Science of Theology (History of Christian Theology, Vol 1)
The Future of Christianity (Blackwell Manifestos)
A Scientific Theology (3 vols.) by Alister McGrath
The Science of God: An Introduction to Scientific Theology
