LINKING A PARTICULAR COMMENTARY TO MICROSOFT WORD

Hi everyone, I was wondering if someone can tell me if it would be possible to link directly an article from a Commentary from Logos with Word through a created note. I have Logos 6 and Microsoft Office which includes the latest version of Word.
Thank you,
Joe

Hi Joe
Not sure exactly what you are asking - can you expand a bit please?
If you want the ability to open a resource from within Word that is possible by coping a reference to the resource.
I outline this at http://screencast.com/t/2M1rZbRmNzg
Does this help at all or have I missed your point?

My question has to do with taking an article from my Logos Commentary library, highlight it, and copy it and paste it on to Word. Then try to link it to a blank note with a word (e.g. righteousness) next to a particular verse in my preferred bible.
Once this is done, the idea would be that once I click on my icon-note, Word would immediately open up and show me the entire article. This way, I could edit the article if I choose to, add my own words, etc.
I will also be saving lots of space on my logos library.
Is that possible?
Thank you for your expertise,
Joe

You can't have a note icon opening a Word document - a note icon opens a note.
But you can have a link inside a note to a Word document - see https://wiki.logos.com/Notes#Creating_hyperlinks_to_documents_in_your_computer for details of how to do this.
So you could create a note linked to a word / verse which provides the ability within it to open a Word document to the copied article.

I'm not sure what you mean here. Are you talking about the savings of not copying the article into a Logos Note? In terms of the overall size of your library I would expect this to be insignificant.
I'm unsure why you want to do this in Word as opposed to in a Notes document.
