TDOT on the ios app
First, thanks FL for getting it on the app so quickly. It is great to have on the mobile device.
Second, I know I have commented on this almost ad nauseum when it comes to the Guides not showing TDNT, for example, and now, TDOT doesn't show up on the guides, either. I hoped for better but am not surprised and I do know that Kevin said FL is working on getting more lexicons to show up in the guides from the server side. That will be great when it happens.
Third, so I am experimenting with work arounds as to how too make using the TDOT in the app workable. Granted, there is still the viable option of doing a basic search on a Hebrew lemma using the TDOT as a recent resource. That works but gives a number of hits you have to fish through to find the main entry for the lemma in the TDOT. If there is a way to re-construct the search terms to limit the hits, it would be a great help.
The other work around which does work well with Greek lemmas in the guides is to look at the DBL in the results (always get the DBL as a hit in the Exegetical and Word study guide) and see the TDNT as an active link when it is referenced. So, it is possible to see the TDNT entries in the guides some of the time going through the DBL.
So in hopes of a work around for the TDOT, I tried using the guides for Hebrew lemmas and looking at the TLOTwhich shows up in the results. However, please see the attached and notice that S 430, BDB 43a...TDOT , TWOT 93c, NIDOTTE 466 are all referenced and live links other than TDOT! I wish it were. Another major point I need to make is that if you select these different links, one that actually goes to the right reference book is the NIDOTTE 466 and shows that entry. When you select S 430 for example, you are not directed to Strong's resource but it loops back to the DBL. Is this a bug?

TLOT is on the list to be rebuilt with functional TDOT links.
