Desperately needed feature
When using the mobile app during a sermon, where the pastor may jump in and out of a verse to another verse (or two, or three), the app really fails at its purpose.
Changing from one verse to another with the navigation screen is SLOW.
What the app really needs is a dropdown arrow at the top of the screen with the last (say) five verses viewed, so a touch on the arrow and a touch on the verse will take the user directly there, in and out as needed to follow the sermon or lesson. A 'back' button isn't quite enough, as pastors have a tendency to jump to more than one verse external to the focus text.
(There may be an even better way, but this one seems the most obvious to me.)
Just an idea, but one which would greatly enhance the usability of the app during church, I think.

The app already supports a two-finger left/right swipe gesture to move back and forth to the previously viewed verses (or Guides, etc.). Please see https://monosnap.com/file/P3j2luv1MWRj0lGnI89sVa7ivWqSTx .

That's a well-kept secret. But a helpful one!

This feature has been in the app for years.

When you don't provide documentation, telling your customers that a feature has been around for years does not make you look good.

I also had never heard of it. I am guessing this is one of the features only for iOS and not Android? I no longer have my iPad to test it on but I am not having any luck on my Android phone.

Just adding my 2 cents that a simple dropdown of the most recent few verses or locations would be great.
Its so easy to follow links from a verse to a commentary to a dictionary and so on, but hard to go back to where you started.

Did you see the above post? "The app already supports a two-finger left/right swipe gesture to move back and forth to the previously viewed verses (or Guides, etc.). Please see https://monosnap.com/file/P3j2luv1MWRj0lGnI89sVa7ivWqSTx ."
History and the Recent Verses for Bibles are also in the app (the latter is shown when using the Verse Picker to find a verse - there's a button that says Recent, and it's a drop down list of recent verses).

Kevin,
Thanks.
Yes - I use the 2-finger swipe often, but it gets too hard if you follow a deep chain of links and hop around a whole pile of locations and different books. Something I often do if a new idea catches my attention and I want to look into it.
Maybe my real problem is my reading can get distracted at times😄

Another thing that might help in this case ... you can long-press on the "back" button to get to history.
