Notes display
Using ios 9
I have a number of scripture highlighted with an accompanying note. There have been a couple of times when I have been able to view all my notes and I'm able to sort by reference or most recent, etc. However, I am not able to replicat how I did it. I think I would love this program...but the learning curve is very steep for me. 😟

Hi Margery,
I'm sorry it took so long for someone to respond to your question. Usually, the cadre of Logos users is faster on the uptake.
I had never come across the capability to sort notes while on an iPad. I generally don't work with the notes files on my iPad's. I just take all my notes there. Then I work with the notes files on my PC. A little nosing around resulted in the answer. It wasn't obvious to me and I am very computer literate, so don't feel bad about not finding it.
First, to open your notes file. Tap the control in the upper left hand corner which is three vertical lines. This will open up a menu. Select "Documents" from that menu (It's about half way down the menu). Your notes files will be in the list of documents which is displayed. Select your notes file of choice.
Second, to get to the Sort menu. Tap the "Edit" control in the upper right corner of the panel with the notes file. You should see a "Sort" control as the third control in the upper right. I suspect you can take it from here.

I just reread my own instructions and I need to be more clear. My instructions start as if you were reading a resource. That is when you would see three vertical lines is the upper right corner. If you are at "Home" in the application, then the menu with "Documents" will already be in the list on the left.
My second problem is that the "Sort" control will be the third control in the upper LEFT; not right. I suspect you would have seen that, but I do not like to mislead.

Don't believe there is any way to sort notes on the iOS version of Logos.
If you mean that you can't view your notes—Look under the Aa menu. One of the options is Notes with an on-off indication. When you click that you have slide switches for each note document. By some mysterious process, I find the my Acts note file is randomly turned off. Perhaps you are referring to a similar problem.

Good information on the Notes switch. I forgot to mention that. Otherwise, Jack, did you try my technique? I informed her on how to get to the SORT control on an iPad.

The first time I clicked Edit, I only saw the Delete feature. After your post, I looked again—Now, I stand corrected. There is a way to sort notes on iOS. Thanks you David.
