How do you delete unwanted books?

Delete? Or Remove from your library?

You can delete it (from being a downloaded resource on your mobile device) by clicking on "i" with the circle (information button) that is found at the bottom of the iPhone reading view or to the right of the resource name while viewing the resource name in the Library view. Then click REMOVE from the info area / panel.

Note: this does not remove it from showing up in your library, it removes the downloadeded version so you will then be viewing the resource over your internet connection.

    Welcome! [:)]

Short answer: you can't... Long answer: if you own a license for the resource, you could try using the HIDDEN BOOK feature within L6 OR you could ask Logos to remove the license. Again, the later will only work if you own the license to the resource and if the resource isn't part of a collection or package (unless you are hiding all of those as well). Lastly, if the resource is one of the "free to use" resources, you can't hide it either.

The best option might be to use the syntax local: to show only downloaded resources.

I was unaware that hiding a resource on a desktop would suppress it from mobile? When did that change? Or am I just confused.

Also, I tend to think the user us asking about deletion of locally downloaded resources and not licensing issues, but we'll know more when he replies. I could have totally missed that one.

It is my understanding that hiding a book pushes that preference across all platforms. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. As I don't hide many books, it is hard for me to check. I'll see if I can find one to test.

Just checked... I had a "sampler" book which I hid... it doesn't show up on my mobile app... however, it also no longer shows up in the store. I would bet that I proved my understanding, but not more than a coca-cola.
