Windows users: Do you start with Bible art?

The first thing I do when I setup a Windows machine is load Bible Screen Verse of the Day.

This sets my lock screen to the Verse of the Day art daily.

Have you tried it? Do you like it? If so, I'd appreciate your taking a moment to rate it 5 stars at:

http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/bible-screen-verse-of-the-day/cb3a23bd-c12a-4e15-b7fa-322b2e5b1236

And remember, you can share the art directly from the app -- just use the Share button or right-click after running. (Unfortunately you can't share straight from the lock screen.)

Thanks!

I've installed it ... I'll let you know what I think after I've lived with it a while.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

I like this idea. Wish you would develop something for the Mac along these lines!

    Mine quit auto-updating in 2014.

I was manually updating daily for a long time, but finally got to the point where I just left it sit on one of the images that I liked.

    It's designed for Windows 10.

Indeed - it was originally designed for windows 8, when I installed it. I upgraded to 10 prior to its release, and it continued not working, and when 10 was released I re-installed 8, (installed the bible art) and then upgraded back to 10 the day it was released, and still it doesn't work.

It still seems to be delivering the same image. I worked it through with tech support once, and it worked again for a few days... But I don't have the desire to fuss around with it either every day, or every few days.

There must be something unique to my system or setup that is causing issues...

I still gave it 4 stars in the app store. the images are outstanding.

    Interesting.

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if mine will update. I like it. [:)]

I haven't tried it and will not since I run Windows 7. I will not touch Windows 10 until I get a new computer. I've heard to many horror stories from people I know upgrading to this OS.
