I'm really working on harnessing the power of Logos by using the notes and diagram features. My one frustration is text formatting. I'd love to have custom styles so I can quickly change font, size, color, etc. for different types of annotations. I'd also love the ability to custom name these styles (since I forget from one week to the next what a color is used for).

Are you familiar with the Palette feature in Logos? You can create as many styles as you wish, arranged by palette. (see here for text formatting for Revelation)

As you highlight text in your resource, the text will take on the style you have predefined. You can see some example here: https://wiki.logos.com/Highlighting_%E2%80%93_Examples and also you can search the wiki page and the forums for TONS of advice on setting up and leveraging palettes and styles to do what you need.

A simple example: You can set a style to display text as Times New Roman, 13 point font, dark blue font color, with red underline. You would build the style to reflect these elements, and then highlight the text in your resource and apply the highlighting to it. As long as the highlighting style (in the corresponding note) is turned on in the Visual Filters option, you will see the text in the predefined manner.

    Hope this helps.

While pallets are a really cool feature which I only recently discovered, I don't think they work for what I want (although I'd be REALLY excited if there was a way to get them working. What I want to do is highlight my annotations in the diagram module. It takes something like 6 clicks to make my questions show up in a red serif font. Same is true in the notes module.

If you forget from week to week what something is used for, what good does it do to differentiate?

In Notebooks: I'd really love to see:

    • Styles (a collection of Paragraph / Font formatting: e.g. 14 Pt Bold Red Single Spacing, that is namable / reusable) and...
    • Headings (a Style, that is namable / reusable, that has an outline level attached to it) .
