Verbum Gift in Snail Mail

If you have done business with Verbum or are otherwise on their mailing list, be sure to check yesterday's mail. You might have a Christmas card that includes a goodie. I generally don't pay much attention to commercial mail, but I did take a look at this one.

When does it expire? Snail mail from US to Cambodia usually takes up to 3 months... [:S]

And I thought four weeks to the Bahamas was long!

Yikes! And I thought 10-14 days to Canada was bad.

That's a change. In the past, the Verbum codes would only work on the Verbum site.

Thank you again, Faithlife! You've been really generous this Christmas season! I picked up five books with this code

I do not own a Verbum base package but I am subscribed to almost all email lists offered by Faithlife. I do not appear to have received this coupon. Is it strictly for those who have purchased a Verbum package regardless of email subscriptions?

Not sure Mathew, but I do have a couple of Logos base packages. In fact, I have the second to largest base package. I didn't receive anything by snail mail to my knowledge, but I did receive an email with a 20$ credit that expires in a few days.

Great suggestion. I've opted for this title too.

ditto and even though the coupon appears to work on Logos.com I opted to make my purchase via Verbum.com to remain as an active customer of this site.

My thinking too. I was happy to find this on the Verbum site:
Concordia Electronic Theological Library: Collection 1 (2 vols.)
I kicked in another $15 and got it.

Wait! Didn't we have two 20's last year, one from Verbum and then later for New Year's one from Logos? I hope that might be the case this year. I already have my eyes on a nice collection and $20 could make a difference hehe

I've never bought a Verbum package but I did get the coupon via Verbum email.

I only remember one, and my order history shows I spent it on Dec 23 last year, which was the same day it was made available, I think. If there was a second one, no one told me about it! [:@][:P][:D]

Did anyone try it on Vyrso? It added it but didn't deduct anything from the price for me.

I got it in email, the code worked for me in Logos.com, and I've never purchased a package.

Picked up the NTSK for less than half price. Thanks for the Christmas gift, Verbum folks!

Still no code for me. Any idea which mailing list the codes are coming from? Maybe they are being sent out in batches?

No. I'm sorry but I deleted the email as soon as I used the code. All I remember is that it was from Verbum, not Logos.

My email was from Verbum Newswire, if that helps.

If you can remember last year's Christmas gift code, it might help to take a good "guess" about the current Verbum code. [:#]

Mystery solved. There is a Verbum mailing list you can sign up for from the main Logos site, but that particular one looks like it requires a trip over to Verbum's website. Probably signed up too late, but I am ready for next year's code! Blessings to all and thanks to Faithlife for their constant generosity!
