Crash

Logos will not successfully start. It gets all the way to the point of loading my last layout and then quits completely while bringing up the resources. I've gone through all the diagnostics suggested with no change. I'm running a Macbook Pro with El Capitan and have been using it for quite some time. I'm not aware of any updates or changes that I have initiated.

Welcome! Sorry you are having troubles. [:s]
The error in your logs that is pertinent:
12/26/2015 15:11:07 | ERROR | 1 | OurApp | Unhandled exception: Libronix.Utility.Threading.AsyncWorkException: Unhandled exception in asynchronous work. ---> System.FormatException: The string '3J%I&HGFh]RAH'>' has an invalid format.
I have never seen so many question diamonds. It's like the riddler invaded your machine. [:)]
I <think> that you are experiencing an issue that several others have with the corruption of layouts. Have you tried loading to a blank layout? Press and hold the command key immediately upon startup. That may help you to get into your installation. You may need to rebuild your layout. I believe the issue has been fixed in beta... but I am not sure about that. A full fledged techie or Faithlife would need to provide more.

Hi gregorywright,
Can you try the steps below?

- Open Finder.
- Press CMD+Shift+G.
- Type ~/library/application support/logos4 and hit go.
- Open the Data folder and the folder inside.
- Open the ResourceManager folder.
- Move the logos folder to your Desktop.
- Restart Logos with logging enabled
Post new logs if it still crashes. Please let us know what you have it opening to if it is crashing.

Here is the latest:
I followed your recommended steps
I got further than I have previously - Logos started and I was able to begin navigating some, but then it crashed again. I repeated this three times
I am including the logs from the last start up and crash8623.LogosLogs.Greg.20151230-092838.zip
Thanks
Greg
