The line is supposed to be the same distance as the circle.
I am seeing the same thing as you in Biblical Places. But it works correctly in the Atlas.
I'd call this a bug.

Looks like your line is the correct distance, not the circle.

Thanks - you're quite right, the line and circle do match up in the Atlas for me as well - my memory was playing tricks on me.
Glad to know the issue with the maps isn't unique to me, though!

Looks like this is fixed in our beta version (which will be release to the stable channel in a couple weeks). I am able to reproduce this on 6.8 SR1 but not in 6.9 Beta 4.
Can you please test this again once 6.9 is released to stable?
