Sync Bible Reading Plans w/ iPad & iPhone
I've created 3 custom ESV reading plans on my Logos 6, but only the first one will sync with my iPad-iPhone Logos app.
Here's how it looks on my iPad . . . notice no orange ESV symbol beside my # 2 and 3 reading plans. When I tap on them they do not open . . .

Welcome! Sorry for your trouble [:s]

I don't quite follow... It might help to have screenshots and more info on the plans. Do the reading plan documents appear on mobile?

I'm sorry. I can't figure out how to add a screenshot. I've tried.

Please see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/113554.aspx for information on how to check whether your Reading Plans have synced to the web. If they haven't synced to the web, it's not possible for them to sync to the mobile apps.

I knew how to take a screenshot, just didn't know how to post a photo on this forum. Graham's paper clip tip helped.
This is a screenshot of my iPad. I created 3 reading plans on my Mac Logos 6. All 3 show up on my documents list at documents.logos.com. But as you see, on the iPad (and iPhone), only the first one I made actually works. When I tap/touch the other 2 nothing happens.
In the app, when I look at the document for the 2nd and 3rd reading plan, they look like this:
That's what's happening. Any thoughts?

For the two problematic Reading Plans, please look at the List view (instead of Overview - the link is near the top right) for them on documents.logos.com and then compare that to the List view for the one that works. Do they all show passage readings, or just the working one?

Hi Kevin
I've managed to reproduce this by accident!
If I create a Bible Reading Plan that is bounded by pericopes then I see the behaviour Jimmy describes on my iPad
If I leave it set to "Default" then the plan appears fine on my iPad (I haven't checked with the Chapter option)
I don't know if this explains what Jimmy is seeing but it appeared relevant

YES!! Graham, you found the solution!!
I had created them with "pericope" instead of "default", so I went back and changed plans 2 and 3 to "default" instead. Then the app changed! See photo . . .
You guys are my heroes! Thanks for your help!
It's weird, though . . . I created the first one, the OT plan, with "pericope", too, but it worked on the app.
And, shouldn't they transfer to the app no matter how I set them up ("pericope" included)? I guess it's a glitch in the programming.
Anyway, thanks for helping me solve this issue! Happy New Year, brothers.

Hi Jimmy
Glad it got things working for you.
But I agree this is a bug, hopefully this will give Kevin enough to take to the developers.

Thanks Graham!
I have another Reading Plan question: How do I create a reading plan using a book/resource in my library that is not a Bible? When I use "Generate a Reading Plan" I can only choose Bible books, not other books. The "Custom" feature doesn't seem to work either, and it's confusing (I can't click on the "open resource" option.

Strange - when using the Generate Plan dialog bix you should be able to click on the Bible and that should open a dropdown owing you to choose any book.
If that doesn't work please start a new thread in the Logos 6 forum about this

Oops! Sorry Graham. I was clicking on "All Passages" instead of "English Standard Version". You're right, when I click on "English Standard Version" then I have the option to choose other books/resources.
Thanks for your help!
