In the NIGTC on Mt 26.65 there is a note (no 250) containing these words. But it is not in the search results. What is wrong here?
Using Logos 6.8 replicated proximity search in footnote text for NIGTC Matthew not working while three other searches find footnote 250:
Footnote proximity search puzzle persists after reindex of NIGTC Matthew.

Thank you!
Yes, can someone from FL look into this?
Why does even a search for "priestly vestments" NEAR Sanhedrin" in footnotes give zero results. Etc.
Hans
I don't have this resource. Could you post a screenshot of the search fields list from the information panel for this resource please?
Here:
Does Footnote Text appear in the first argument of the Search (it is partially hidden and begins with "Abbreviated Form"?

If they are in the same footnote you must use e.g. "priestly vestments" WITHIN 0-20 WORDS Sanhedrin
Only manuscript text is indexed with its relative word spacing, which means that all words in the same footnote (etc) have the same relative spacing i.e. 0 WORDS. Words within adjacent footnotes will have a spacing of 1 WORD e.g. words in the two footnotes The Herods, Jezebel's Idolatory are separated by 1 word.
Good to know Dave ... there is no end to the details is there?
In the same footnote, found WITHIN 0 WORDS works (so proximity range is ineffective within a footnote, which is consistent with word spacing being applicable for surface text)
"priestly vestments" WITHIN 0 WORDS Sanhedrin
Edit: when minimum surface text range is one, then words within the same footnote are not found.
