Copy Verse feature malfunction

Hi,
I am trying to help my brother with an issue. He has Logos on his desktop and laptop, both running
windows 10. Runs Logos 6. ( Platinum I think ) One running 6.4 and the other 6.8, same behavior.
Prior to this the "copy verse" function has been fine. Now he says that when he tries to type in a new verse, it does not populate the search field in order for him to copy.
He has Romans in there, then types in Proverbs and hits enter or presses arrow and nothing happens.
He called support but never got called back as promised by a tech and then called in again and was told no tech was available.
I plan to remote log in to his machine later and grab the log files etc.
My question is has anyone seen such behavior?
It is occurring on both machines. We tried:
- crtl and open but he does not get the login box.
- Reboot, repiar uninstall done.
- Cleared temp files
I am running out of ideas.
Just thought maybe someone would have some suggestions.
Thank you
Dorothy

Disregard. I was able to make it work...it was a user error situation.

In the industry that's a malfunction in the chair to keyboard interface. It's often rather hard to diagnose. I'm glad you're back on track.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks. I should have done the remote before posting. He was using the wrong abbreviation for a book ;=)
In the end it worked out well. I was able to edit his send menu and install Dropbox and backup Thunderbird remotely. Have to keep him going so he can keep sending out the outlines for our Romans study ;=)0 -
