Is there an easier way to open a new clipping or note document?

Right clicking on a highlighted text doesn't give the option of creating a new clipping or note and only offers the most recent documents.  I would like to see the option to open up any previously note or clipping or create a new clipping or note.

May I try to rephrase your question to see if I understand you correct?

Right clicking on a highlighted text does not give the option of creating a new clipping or note document and only offers the most recent document. I would like to see the option to open up any previous note or clipping document or create a new clipping or note document.

If that accurately describes your suggestion (you can create new notes and clippings) then my question is how would you like to see this done? A drop down menu within the left side of the Context Menu (right click)?

I'm sorry, MJ. But I don't see that option.

I too would like to see an option implemented that lets you browse and choose the right note document. Often times the note document that I want to make a note in is not a recent one or one that I have open right now. So another option in the right click menu that says "Choose Note Document" would be helpful. It then would open a window for you to select the note document that you want to add a note to.

Sorry I have editted my post to be clearer - what I thought I wrote and what I actually wrote was not the same. [:$] It's not an option. It is the standard behavior - one cannot edit or delete a note or clipping from the content menu - you can only create new ones. One has to keep a clear distinction between the document which contains the notes and the note itself which is what I tried to do by rewording the original question. You made the same distinction in the second part of the post.

Ok, yes that would reflect what I would like to see implemented. Thanks for clarifying it.
