iPad Not Syncing to Cloud

I just realized today that my highlights / notes, etc... that I've made on my iPad are not syncing up to https://documents.logos.com & therefore not making it to my iPhone or my PC.

My iPad has Logos version 5.0.4 (5.0.40907) installed.

I have done three tests to come to this conclusion:

1) I created a note on my PC.  That note then appeared on documents.logos.com and then on my iPhone. But not to my iPad.

2) I then edited that note on my iPhone and it then propagated to the cloud and then to my PC.  But not on my iPad.

3) I then added note to my iPad.  It failed to sync to documents.logos.com - and therefore it didn't get passed to my PC or my iPhone.

Additionally, I get, on occasion a "Sorry there was an error processing your request" message on my iPad. This will happen when I launch the app, switch to a different app (or return to the home screen) and then try to relaunch app (it's the relaunching of the app that causes the error).

If I delete the app on my iPad and then re-install I will lose the notes that were created on my iPad - which I don't want to do.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

- David

Can you verify that your iPad is using the right credentials? Can you verify which note document you are using on your iPad?

When I got into setting it shows logged in under my @gmail.com account - which should be the correct account.  I looked around for a place to sign out so I could re-log in but was unable to find a place to do that.

The note I used to test is at Psalm 1:1 - it says "test note" & "test note 2" in it.

    Thanks for your help!

Good. You should, however, edit your previous post and edit out your email address. If you are unable to do so, a forum moderator can help you with that.

That isn't what I meant. I mean which note DOCUMENT are you using?

Thanks for the tip - I've removed the front half of my email address above.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by note document.  The group of notes that my test note is in is called "DPL Highlighting" - is that what you mean?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by note document.

Notes, including highlights (which are just a form of "notes") are stored in note DOCUMENTS. By default (which I think is crazy), highlight notes are stored in a note document named for the highlighter pallet you used. On the desktop app, there is a menu structure for "documents" (next to "guides" and "tools"). The "documents" menu can also be found on the mobile app, but it is a little harder to find.

The group of notes that my test note is in is called "DPL Highlighting" - is that what you mean?

It sounds like it. Are the notes "highlighting notes," or "regular" notes? If they are highlights, I assume your pallet is named "DPL Highlighting" (whatever that means).

You need to understand note documents to be able to answer my questions. Sometimes, for example, people think notes aren't syncing because they have the note document turned off visually within the resource... In actuality, the notes are present, just hidden. I am trying to figure out if that is the case for you.

If the notes are indeed not syncing, a reinstall will indeed mean losing the notes. Have you tried killing the app? Doing a hard shut down of the device? When was the last time you did a fresh install (if ever)? If you haven't ever reinstalled, how old is this installation?
