Finding resources the way they were purchased
Hi all,
I was wondering if in Logos 6 there is a way to find all the resources,with one search, that were bundled together when purchased. Often times multiple resources offered in a bundle have different titles as well as different authors and searching the bundled name (as given on Logos website) yields nothing. Any help would be great.

This may work for you:
Go to https://faithlife.com/logos-product-collections/documents
Join as a member if you are not one.
Select documents and then you can scroll or type in your packages, such as Logos 6 Platinum. Now copy the collection so you have it in your Logos.
Open your library, select the Logos 6 Collection from the dropdown.
Here are all the books you have that came from L 6 Platinum.
If you want to tag them just click and the first resources shift click on the last, open the info icon and in the tag box type L6 Platinum. Now you can use the Mytag:L6 Platinum in searches etc. This step may not be necessary for you to get the information you are requesting. The FL group has most collections from L6 and L5 along with some bundles.

Logos should build into their program a bundle search seeing as they offer so many of them. Just my opinion.

a couple of thoughts:
- FL has offered a multitude of bundles and packages. A resource could have been acquired any number of ways. Furthermore, dynamic pricing warps and twists things.
- Why does it matter how you acquired a resource? What value is there in that knowledge?

First thought is if you are going to sell...don't bundles need to be sold together?

Yes, but why would FL spend time creating a feature for counterproductive reasons? Also, as I suggested above, dynamic pricing shifts and morphs things around. For example, I purchased the ESV as part of my first base package in L4. I also have L5 & L6 packages. The license I have is tied to all of those packages.

I think I have read in the past, but I can't find where, that some users create and tag their resources when they are first purchased and downloaded. If I recall correctly, that tag for some was set up as sort of a "purchase date" or "acquired date". That way, if they ever had to reinstall their library they would always have record of when they first acquired the resource.
I'm wondering if you could do something similar with what you are wanting as far as a "bundle" or "collection"? Maybe you could use your purchase invoices or Order History on-line to go back and map those out with a user defined tag.

If you do a search on the Logos site for a particular work, you should find whether it is listed in a group. You can then look at your purchase history to find when you purchased it.
