Suggested improvement: Multi-resource display

I love the multi-resource display, and use it all the time.
But it frustrates me that I can't see the interlinear ribbon for 'slave' resources, only for the 'master' resource. I know that I can click on the words in slave resources and the 'master' ribbon will move to the right location, but that's not always helpful.
For example, I'm studying Colossians 4:3, with the NKJV and 2011 NIV. The NKJV has "open to us a door for the word" and the NIV has "open a door for our message", and I wanted to see why the versions translated the Greek text differently. In the end I had to open a new NIV so I could view it's ribbon, where I can now see that it's simply a question of what ἡμῖν actually fits with (there's no textual differences). But it would have been much better for me if I could have done that within multiview, rather than open a new resource.

I agree on this. It would be most helpful to be able to see the ribbon

Perhaps this should be a option that could be toggled back and forth...I agree that many times I'd like the slave resources to show ribbons, but I have a couple layout where I have so many versions packed into such a narrow space that individual ribbons would yield one or two words much of the time.

I wasn't suggesting there should be multiple ribbons — I agree that would leave too little space. I was suggesting that the one ribbon ought to include information from the resource you click on, not the equivalent information from the master resource.

That would be a most welcome modification.

Good idea. We'll look into feasibility. Thanks!
