Basic Searching

So I viewed the video on L4's basic search and performed a basic search on "purgatory". I noticed that the search doesn't populate potential matches as I type as it does in the Win version.

More importantly though, the results show up but do not open when I click on the article titles it only opens when I click the highlighted search word in the preview text below. in this case "purgatory"

Lastly when I opened the initial article it appeared on the right side of the screen. When I opened a second article it populated as a tab on the left where my search results had been. It would seem that each opened article should form a tab on the right where the inital article was opened?

That is because it is not the same search. L4mac does not currently have the "Speed Search" option.

Same here, they only open when I click the highlighted words.

Lastly when I opened the initial article it appeared on the right side of the screen. When I opened a second article it populated as a tab on the left where my search results had been.

L4win works properly and so I assume this has not been optimized yet for L4mac. I imagine it is still to early in the Alpha to fix this when the focus is primarily on getting the UI built.

I did what you had suggested Joe which was match videos to the list of active L4 Mac components. Then tried it out. I

understand it won't be right but I thought posting here would be beneficial in getting those small elements up to speed.

Same here, they only open when I click the highlighted words.

It's on the docket, it just hasn't made it into the Alpha builds yet.
