Why am I getting ads?
I am a Logos Now subscriber only because Logos won't make a Universal app for my Windows 10 phone. To add insult to injury I have banner ads on the mobile site. Why? I have to say, I am reconsidering spending money on electronic books, because it is clear I don't really own them.

When I log on, I don't see ads. What browser are you using? What is the URL you are accessing?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

No ads using Safari on Mac OS 10.11.2. Same with Firefox. Not even with Chrome on Windows 7.

Nor me on iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Well, I logged in this morning and no ads! I don't know if something changed on Logos' end, or mine. But I'm glad they are gone. Thanks to everyone who responded.

I am very glad your issue was resolved, but in actuality we do not own digital books just licenses to access and use them. This is a plus though, since losing them because a hard drive crashed in an ownership case may mean you had to buy them again, the same as loosing a physical book.

Rom: I occasionally view app.logos.com on an Android 4.4.2 with the Chrome app. I have seen a banner ad near the bottom, between text and footnotes. It seems to be random, as I can't discern a pattern to its appearance.
Dan: I'm certain you are correct, as that is also how software works. Logos should probably change the mouse-over message for the Add to Cart button on already-purchased resources from "You already own this product."
