Alternate or supplimentary labeling of puchased resources
As my collection has grown, when I search for commentaries on a portion of scripture, it is not unusual for me to be unsure which commentary the one entitle "Luke" might be. Commentaries usually have titles which are very similar. When I build a PBB I usually add the author's name onto the title. I would love to be able to do that with books I have purchased. Perhaps the owners do not want the title changed. Such a label could be distinguished from the publishers title by parenthesis, a different font or font color. On my book shelf I usually see the title and author all in a single glance. I find this inability to do that in Logos an annoyance. Yes, I know I can put my cursor on it to see more info, but that takes some of the time Logos is designed to save me.

As you can see here I have added series suffixes to the commentaries with identical titles.
To do this click on the information panel, click on the pencil and modify the title as you wish. The standard title will still come up as the bibliographic entry.

Interesting. I added prefixes to mine. My logic was that if I am looking at a passage guide for Romans, I already know that all of the commentaries listed are for Romans. By placing the series name at the beginning of the title I can more quickly identify which Romans commentary is being listed, as it is not "buried" at the end of the title. May I ask what your logic was in placing the series name as a suffix rather than a prefix? I am always interested in learning why power users do what they do, as there are usually advantages I had not thought of.

I didn't want to disturb the sort order which generally keeps each major Bible book together ... the shorter epistles are a crap shoot.

One followup question. I am assuming there is no way to append a name to the title of an entire series without doing it for each individual book.
