Illustrations in Passage Guide?
I've done pretty well lately in sticking to using only Logos 4, even though it is still often quite slow on my computer. Today I have been frustrated because I wanted to look for illustrations for my sermon and realized that I couldn't do that in L4. I have been following the betas to some degree (though haven't installed the beta version), but didn't think this feature had been added to the beta versions yet. The coming soon page says that it is coming very soon, so I wanted to ask you guys if I had missed this feature being added to the beta versions. If so, I'll probably go ahead and load it. I am with you on missing the Illustrations on the Passage Guide. I have been using a couple of work arounds that take a little more time, but seems to get me more hits than L3 passage guide.
1. Created a Illustrations Collection - subject:illustration OR title:illustration
2. Add the Illustrations Collection to Passage Guide. This gets me illustrations that refer to the passage.
3. Open up a Search window and search the Illustrations Collection with topics found in the Passage Guide.
A little more work... but found that I can get a wider range of illustrations searching topics in the Search Window than L3 passage guide.

Thanks James. I've tried adding an illustrations collection to my passage guide, but I didn't get much of any value. I may try searching topics that come up manually, though that seems like a real pain. I think that I'll stick with L3's functionality for the time being. I was just hoping that maybe that feature was just about ready.

This is a feature we're working on, but it is unlikely that the "Illustrations" section in the Passage Guide will be included in the final version of 4.0b.

Thanks for that confirmation Bradley. I'm disappointed to hear it, but glad to have an answer direct from Logos.
