Questions on the use of Greek Fonts on a Mac in a word processor

I have only had a mac for a year. I saw where the Greek Font can be downloaded for free from Logos. It can be used in the word processor. I have set this up on my PC. I downloaded the fonts and keyboard. It works fine. I am assuming the fonts will work on a Mac. I didn't see a mac keyboard.
Here are my questions:
1. Do the fonts work on a Mac?
2. Do I need a special keyboard for the Mac?
I want to be able to type in Greek in Microsoft Word or Pages.

The fonts probably, but you can find plenty of freebies on the web. Personally, I use Gentium Plus which looks good both in English and Greek. SBL Greek is also free. Just Google for the one you prefer—I installed both.
Logos only has a Greek keyboard for Windows, but the Mac OS has a number of different keyboards installed. I found some dated instructions on the web and modified them to fit OS 10.11—probably works with 10.10, but I can't check that.
Activating the Greek keyboard in Mac (OS X and higher)
1. From the Apple Menu (top left corner of the screen ) pull down System Preferences > Keybnoard.
2. Click the Input Sources tab.
3. A list of available keyboards and input methods will appear. Use the checkboxes to select the language input methods you are likely to need
If a Greek keyboard does not appear in the selection, click the + and choose Greek from the list.
(choose ‘Greek Polytonic’).In the upper right side of the Menu bar, see a flag indicating the selected keyboard (US in my case).
Clicking on that will allow you to change keyboards.6. Toggle back and forth between the different keyboards to type in English and Greek respectively.
If you need further information, just ask.
