Creating a custome reading plan from the iPad app

Can you create a custome reading plan from the iPad app or do you need to create it on the laptop app and it syncs?  I don't see the same options on the iPad.  Seems silly not to be able to do it from the iPad.

  You need to create it on the Laptop first and then sync it to the ipad
