    • All users: Guides- Added a new “Interactives” guide section to Passage Guide, Sermon Starter Guide, and Topic Guide.

In the release notes it says:

    Guides

Added a new “Interactives” guide section to Passage Guide, Sermon Starter Guide, and Topic Guide. This section provides links to relevant interactive resources for the given guide key.
    A few examples:

    • A Topic Guide on “Temple” will give several results from Before and After: Biblical Sites
    • A Sermon Starter Guide on “Law: Ten Commandments” will have a link to Counting the Ten Commandments
    • A Passage Guide on Exodus 20 will give links to articles on ancient altars and priestly garments from Interactive Infographics from the Faithlife Study Bible

However, no matter what I do, I can't get any of the Before and After: Biblical Site to show up in any of the interactive search results. I don't have any problem with Counting the 10 Commandments showing up or the articles on ancient altars and priestly garments, but no matter what I try, I can't get a single entry from the Before and After to show up as a search result.

The release notes neither say that all interactives are included or that they appear for all relevant passages. How do I know - because in the beta I discovered that many of my expectations were not met.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Strange - I tried the one you quoted from the Release Notes and got a result

I suggest you start a new thread outlining the issue you are seeing

I notice that you are using a custom PG, and Graham is using the default PG.

I tried both .. and could not find Jerusalem on either!

What did seem strange to me was that the section only gave 2 hits ... with a 'more ...' option that displayed another 4; and a further more that added another 4, and then a final 'More ... which added a single item.   I can understand the need to limit the number of hits but the Media comes up with 9 hits ... and fills two complete rows on my display.

Why do Interactives comes up with a single half-filled row and the need to keep clicking more?

Removed the dependency on BITS for downloading resources and program updates.

I just want to note that I find this note in particular interesting.

Interesting, yes. I had problems with that for years, across Win 7 (I think), 8, and 10. I often had to do a combination of process killing and rebooting to get Logos to download, and I was told that, from my logs, BITS was the problem.

A couple of months ago the problem disappeared; don't know if it was from a fix on MS or FL's end.

I noticed that the version number is no longer displayed on the home page. It had a link to all the release notes which was very valuable. Can that be available again?

If you click the "x" (see MJ's screenshot), the box will NOT reappear until the software engine is updated again... So don't click it if you want it. [:)]

    you can also do this.

Go to the Logos software wiki here: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Bible_Software_Wiki

and follow the link to the release notes for version 6: https://wiki.logos.com/Logos_6_Release_Notes

The page this second link takes you to will then provide a link to the various release notes for each sub-version.

Once you get to page the second link took you to, highlight the address in the address bar, left-click and drag it to your tool bar to create a link to the release page. Change and label the link to suite your preferences.

Now you won't have to wait for an update that way. [:)]

After thinking about it, this won't tell you what version of LOGOS YOU are currently running.

Just click on the "HELP" button, then "About Logos Bible Software".
This would tell you what version level you are currently running.

No release notes here, but the other method will still get you that.
