Outline level 3 renders smaller than any other level. This bug is of fairly recent appearance—it may have been introduced sometime in 6.9.

First, the outline in MS Word for Mac 2011. All fonts are Arial 14 point normal:

    Jack,

I notice your line with Heading level 3 has a footnote - does the bug show only in this case, or everytime?

Good question. Had to go check. The formatting error exists with ever incidence of Level 3—footnote or not. I have some level 1, 2, 4, and 5 entries with footnotes, and they remain unaffected. The error also occurs with both Arial and Helvetica.

Changed levels 2 through 5 to 12 point, and level 3 now displays properly. However, I have 2 level 5 heading which seemed to have remained at 14 point. I will leave the formatting at 12 point, which looks better anyway.
