Preparing for a clean install

Hi.

I am still having issues with no book covers, a minor point but it leaves me with the feeling of what else is missing. (posted here) as well as the problem of duplicated priorities (here).

Tomorrow I have chance to do a complete re-install (downloads and all) ... although the indexing might take a little longer !

How do I remove L4Mac A11 completely?

As far as I can see, it is about

deleting the application, and
deleting the folders in the 'library' (Sorry, I am not at my mac at the moment, so I cannot give a better description ... find the log files and navigate upwards)

Are there any more settings that will need to be altered or deleted?

Observation: may want to keep /User/<your id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging folder with nlog.config file - especially one downloaded from

http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx

Other files in Logging folder and other folders in Logos 4 could be moved to trash along with application.

Logos 4 has one file in /User/<your id>/Library/LaunchAgents folder: com.logos.LogosIndexer.plist

You can also use appzapper (the application). It will do a clean uninstall: http://www.appzapper.com/

http://onnati.net/apptrap/ also does a good job of a complete uninstall of applications.

Thanks Guys.

I deleted the files and re-installed smoothly,
except that the internet connection that I was using had problems. The
10 Gb download should have taken about an hour, but after 4 hours only
4% had arrived (i.e. 96 hours to go!).

I will try again in a couple of weeks. Fortunately I treat the alpha as an alpha and do all of my study on my windows box.
