Help with choosing a Video Card for iMac

I'm going to be getting a 27" 5k iMac. I'm wondering if any of you have any recommendations for how the following 2 would compare for Logos:
-AMD Radeon R9 M395 with 2 GB video memory
-AMD Radeon 4( M395X with 4 GB video memory
I plan on running with 2-3 monitors

I doubt there's much difference save for the amount of RAM. If you were doing video production or some other very intensive work, maybe. I'd ask Apple directly. It's a big investment and there's no do over with the latest Macs.

The M395 works great with multiple monitors. It is very zippy with Logos as well (if you choose SSD or Fusion drive).0

Bare Feats has some comparison articles:

For Logos use, the 2015 Flash Storage would be more noticeable:

For 27" 5k iMac, would prioritize hardware upgrades:
- Flash Storage
- CPU (i7)
- Graphics (M395X)
Note: memory can be easily upgraded after purchase => https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iMac+Intel+27-Inch+Retina+5K+Display+RAM+Replacement/30533

Thanks. I got the 3 TB fusion, the i7, and decided that since I intend this to be my office machine for years to come that I should just go with the better graphics card, so got the M395X. I'm going to upgrade the RAM as soon as I receive the computer.

Did you check before hand that it is actually upgradable?
Edit: never mind. Just saw KS4J's post. [:)]

Yup it is....just have to make sure you get the same frequency RAM. Looking forward to studying with this guy. Haven't gotten a new desktop computer in 7 years. Thanks for being excited with me.

I recently upgraded and it sounds like you have gone for the same configuration.
I was a little worried about moving from SSD to a fusion drive, but it runs Logos very smoothly and is lightening quick. The M395X, again, performs really well. I have tried it with external monitors (for a couple of events), but just use a single monitor at home. However, it is very fast when editing big video files and so, again, I think you will be very pleased!

Got it and love it. I am so blessed. It is very nice to be able to run Logos and writing on 3 screens. Certainly not necessary, but I'm grateful.
