Bug? Did my download restart?

I was downloading the new engine (only because I had to do so in order to download my newly acquired resources ) when I noticed that the %complete went back to zero after having finished more than 60%.
Did the download actually restart? If so, why? If there were a temporary loss of internet, should it not have resumed? Here are my logs, which I grabbed after the download finished.
I am on Mac OS X 10.11.3 and was running L6.9

I see no indication in your log that downloading restarted. There was an application update and 4 resource updates. Each of these started exactly once and finished exactly once.
In general, each application and resource update is handled individually. If downloading is interrupted, any files which completed downloading will not need to be downloaded again, but any downloads that were in progress (a maximum of 4) will have to be restarted. The progress would start over again at 0%. This would normally show up in your log with download failures being logged, and a new update session being started (you would have had to use an update command again).
Since these indicators are not present in your log, something else happened. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem possible to determine what happened from the log. It's likely a bug with how the notifications are displayed.
After your progress went back to 0%, did it increase, or did it stay at 0% until the notification went away?

Thanks Andrew. The indicator went back to Zero. The indicated size of the download remained the same (~170mb). The indicator started clicking up again at about the same pace (perhaps 1% every 10-15 seconds).
