Morning & Evening Devotional

Hi there,
I'm a very new user of Logos and thoroughly enjoying getting to know it.
During my exploration I have by mistake deleted the Morning & Evening Devotional link from the front page sidebar. Is there any way that I can get it back there.
I thought I would find it in the reading plans but it is not there.
Grateful if anybody can help me.
Tony

Hi Anthony; Welcome to the Logos Forums.
Let's start here. On your home page, there is a little gear icon in the upper right corner, If you click that, you will see the following dropdown menu. You will want to ensure that "Daily Devotional" is checked. If it is not, check it and see if that will bring it back.
Also, for future reference and training, check out the following sites.

I'm not aware of a Morning & Evening Devotional link in the sidebar but a couple of suggestions. If you click the settings cog on the right you will get a dropdown looking something like this:
If you select "Daily Devotional" this will cause a number of devotionals to appear in the main area of the homepage
If you select one of the lectionaries on the left (one outlined in red) it will appear in the sidebar
Does this help at all?

I already have that box ticked. My own custom made daily reading is showing OK.

When first installed the left-hand pain had a link to C.H. Spurgeon's Morning & Evening Devotional notes. When you clicked on it you were taken directly to the notes for that day.
Because it works this way I don't think it is a reading plan as such, but something entirely separate.

I'm not aware of any way to do that without creating a specific reading plan.
As far as I am aware Devotionals appear in the body of the Homepage
Sorry - hopefully someone else will have further insights.

Hi Anthony,
You probably have a couple of resources tagged as "Calendar Devotional" in your library.
You need to prioritize this specific resource "Morning and Evening" you like, to let Logos know that you always want it to display on your home screen.
In the library view, right click on the title and select "prioritize this resource"

Hi Jaques,
You are a genius! I did what you suggested and although it is not in the side pane it has come up on the front page. That is good enough for me.
So thank you very much brother,
Tony
