I’ve got some questions about resources being put into the Logos format and system. I’ve got a few contacts at some publishers, but so far none of them have been that excited about Logos. The two major concerns I hear are that they fear losing control of the works they publish and they’re worried about the financial cost to them.
Is there a primer or FAQ about getting works published in Logos? I’d love to have the information to be able to discuss with these folks about what it would really be like to be published by Logos. I’d love to know if it’s more about Logos approaching a publisher about its catalogue or a work at a time or it’s publishers who typically come to Faithlife.
I can’t imagine the major publishing houses whose works Logos does publish (or the minor ones, for that matter) have agreed to a system that puts them at a disadvantage in regard to the above two areas.
If they went into the Community Pricing system, would that take care of the financial part of this question?
