Redesign Android app functionality to work completely offline
This has come up and again in various ways and it is not going away: PLEASE look at what competitors are doing in terms of mobile apps and allow the Android app to work locally with the resources that are downloaded. I know there are folks who have network access even on their mobile devices, but not everyone does nor does everyone want to use up airtime that way. It seems a contradiction of sort that to use the mobile app, one must be tethered to a network.
And as far as syncing goes, why not work the same way as with the desktop: sync when online, but allow full offline operation.
Please?

I hope this can happen for all mobile users but this type of functionality which many of us have wanted for a long time is not likely coming anytime soon unless many many more users vote for it. At 417 votes for simple offline passage guides and offline look ups that could be as few as 139 people. People commenting on user voice have already said they are using Accordance and others when they would prefer to be using Logos. For this user and all other Android users Accordance is not yet an option, but it is coming. If FL does not want people to make the switch they need to seriously address this, although as I have been told in the past it is only a very few who are unhappy, and indeed maybe there are only a couple hundred of us... but I wonder how many simply make a switch and drift away from FL products. I know with the reduced staff at faithlife maybe this is completely a pipe dream as I had heard there were even more let go this month. But as one person put it on the comments after been under consideration for 3 years people are getting feed up with waiting.
