HELP, I'm stuck! Downloading updates: stays on 0% forever
This has happened often in the past to me, but I finally caught a log file for it.
Had Logos running already (had been running for days). I was running 4.0b Beta 3. Realized there was a new beta available (4.0b Beta 5; I'd missed Beta 4). Brought Logos back to the foreground. It put up a message saying "Updates available."
I clicked on "Click to download available updates."
This message came up:
It stayed like this at 0% forever... After a LONG time I gave up and cancelled the download and closed Logos. I started up Logos again. Again I clicked on "Click to download available updates." Again I waited for what seemed like forever, and still the update percent was showing 0%. So I closed Logos and cancelled the download again and got the log files. Here they are:
Log files: 7853.ZeroPercentForever.zip
UPDATE: I've tried cancelling again and typing "Update now" and this still doesn't work. I'm stuck unable to update to Beta 5.

OK, I can do that. But isn't it a bug that this should ever happen to anybody?

Well, of course it's a bug. I haven't read a good explanation on why this happens to some people (I remember someone suggesting to turn of Windows update and restart). So until the developers give us word as to why this happens we're stuck with workarounds [:)].

Hopefully the log file I provided will help them figure it out. I'll post it over on the wiki too, now that I've got confirmation from one other person who thinks this is a bug.

I've had this happen to me a couple of times. If you restart your computer it should work fine.
