BUG: Clippings' "Last Updated" Not Syncing to Desktop

Earlier today I did some clipping using the Verbum app. Sometime today, I think after some of the clipping and before other clipping, I updated the app to 5.1.4. This evening, I see the new clippings in one of my clippings documents on Verbum 6.9, but the last accessed date of that clippings document in the Documents menu in Verbum 6.9 is still from the last time I added a clipping to that document on my desktop, which was last year, not today. The correct information for 'Last Updated' is present on documents.logos.com, so I am aware that the problem may be with Verbum 6.9 rather than the app. The 'Sync Now' and 'Sync Repair' commands on Verbum 6.9 did not solve the problem. The individual clippings do appear with the correct date in Verbum 6.9.

App - Verbum 5.1.4.

Windows Program - Verbum 6.9 SR-1.

I can provide more information if FL is unable to replicate.

If clippings created on the Verbum mobile app appear at documents.logos.com but do not appear in Verbum Desktop, there may be a problem with Desktop sync (although I am unaware of any sync issues currently).

What happens if you create a new clipping on Desktop and sync both Desktop and mobile?  Does the clipping appear on mobile?

The actual clippings themselves do appear on Verbum Desktop, but the Verbum desktop version does not update the Last Updated date for the clippings document in its internal Documents menu. The Last Updated information is correct on documents.logos.com.

All clippings created on Verbum Desktop seem to appear in the Android app.

Okay, thanks for the report, I will notify the Desktop team tomorrow.

the last accessed date of that clippings document in the Documents menu in Verbum 6.9 is still from the last time I added a clipping to that document on my desktop

The date shown in the Documents menu in Logos/Verbum is the "last accessed" date on that machine; it is not a "last modified" date that is synced across devices.

This is a known limitation of sync, and we have a case for this issue in our bug tracker.

Thank you for the explanation, and I look forward to the resolution of the bug. [:)]
