Revised Common Lectionary Update

Is there a plan to update the revised common lectionary a few more years? It ends half way through this year. Thank you

Yes. All the lectionaries will be updated before they run out. (They go to the end of the liturgical year in November, so we've got some time, but I'll get it done by this fall.)

I can't resist since the two post together led to the conclusion that November is half-way through the year - I have to point out that the end of the liturgical year is in November except for the churches that begin their liturgical year in September ...[:)]

Yes. To be more precise, I should have said that I was talking only about the RCL and other lectionaries that follow a Western calendar. The Byzantine lectionaries are already built out a few years further.

Any chance Logos will incorporate the Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings? See RCL Daily @ Vanderbilt Divinity School.

Dennis, maybe you are asking more than I realize, but Logos does have the daily readings resource. I just can't find it on the website! [:O] but it is in my library.

They use to have it:
Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings
by Consultation on Common Texts
Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings contains the three-year cycle of daily readings developed by the Consultation on Common Texts.
This lectionary is intended to deepen preparation for and reflection on the Sunday readings of the Revised Common Lectionary with related readings for each day of the week. The Sunday readings themselves are also provided.
Organized by calendar date, the Logos edition of Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings allows you to easily find the readings of the week and read them in your preferred translation.

Thank you! FYI, I noticed when trying to plan into January, this morning. Fall will be VERY timely. Thanks again!
