Suggestion: Tour The Bible mode

I recommend that you create a "Tour the Bible" mode that can run alongside a person's favorite Bible.
I know a user can create a template and open/link other resources now but what about just imagining your typical US reader who has never traveled to Israel and have a window that can open in Logos giving a video or even a huge easy to understand full color map with great explanations similar to the Rose Publishing resources that are quite good (some even in Logos now too) so the Bible texts come alive - particularly those found in The Gospels or in Paul's letters.

Seems to me this is basic functionality that would/should be useful to many on a Sunday morning or even weeknight Bible study.

An instant view that has one Bible, timeline, maps, and maybe even a pronunciation guide.

One stop read the bible in one window and follow along in the other....the sort of simple, basic functionality that should be present the moment you open Logos in my opinion.

Mr. Criddle...I think this should be basic to reading a Bible in Logos.

For example when one reads:

10 Then aHe arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could see a map that automatically shows you nearby in another column intuitively where Jesus is, for example.
Why go through all the work of having to create layouts when this should be at the start functionality with one click in my opinion.

I will review that layout though....I am frankly surprised that such basic functionality isn't built into Logos from the get go. Other things like my Bible always opening in a column on the right instead of expanded across the whole screen seem basic too but that's another topic.

I am constantly surprised by how little basic things seem to have been glossed over or completely neglected in Logos.

(Addendum: I tried linking to the atlas as per Bruce and even using a few other maps...was a no go for me. Perhaps the atlas was not specific enough for me - e.g, I couldn't even easily locate the Jordan river either. IMHO it really should not be this challenging, sorry.)
