If you want this https://www.logos.com/product/52353/wipf-and-stock-da-carson-collection-upgrade order this instead https://www.logos.com/product/38876/wea-theological-resource-library-version-3 is cheaper and the three titles on prepub are virtually the same (maybe revised a little but so far the same from sample pages). You get more resources also for 6 bucks more 😉
DAL
Good Catch DAL,
I have the WEA already but had this preordered already.

You're welcome! I had pre-ordered also, but then noticed the " this title is included in this collection" and went ahead and ordered WEA instead and got more for a few bucks extra. I hope they don't take away these titles from the WEA collection so others can benefit from this great deal as well. 🙂
I am wondering if the books in the Carson 3 vol. are updated versions, because they have a different publication dates From the WEA resources.
I don't think they are updated, just reprints - at least looking at the front page of one of them.
Right With GodJustification in the Bible and the WorldBy Carson, D.A.Copyright©1992 WEF Theological CommissionISBN: 1-59244-044-4Publication date 9/10/2002Previously published by Baker Book House, 1992
This is one of a series of five volumes produced 1984–1993 by the Faith and Church Study Unit of the World Evangelical Fellowship (now Alliance) Theological Commission and edited by Donald A. Carson and is reprinted by permission.
D. A. Carson, ed., Right with God: Justification in the Bible and the World (electronic ed.; Grand Rapids, MI: Baker Book House, 1992), 4.
The resources included in the two collections are identical. If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't show up in the "This title is included as a part of the following collections" section.
I can't even pre-order the 3-volume set because I already own WEA.
If you're thinking of getting the Carson set, then the WEA is a no-brainer IMO — not least for the 30-odd years of the Evangelical Review of Theology journal.
I'm so glad you all have confirmed they are identical! Now my John Phillips set will cost $34.99 less 😁 How odd is that, no?

I pre ordered the 3 vol set and would like to cancel for this better WEA offer but the pre pub order does not show up on the pre pub order page which shows when products are shipping.
How do you know you pre-ordered it? Have you got an email? If you own WEA it will be greyed out and saying you've pre-ordered it on hover, even if you haven't. If you're really pre-ordered it, it will say pre-ordered on such-and-such a date.
I already own WEA so there is an order Faithlife created for me to get the Carson upgrade where I do not pay anything.

This is what confused me. I couldn't find it in my pre-orders, and then I realized it must be because I own the WEA set.
I pre ordered the 3 vol set and would like to cancel for this better WEA offer but the pre pub order does not show up on the pre pub order page which shows when products are shipping. I'm not showing an order for you on the Wipf and Stock D.A. Carson Collection.
It is greyed out saying I pre ordered the product and that it ships 03 31. The other product WEA is not greyed out.
I think we might receive free updated versions since the page count is different on two of the books (Teach us to pray and Right with God). The Pre-pub that's coming out at the end of this month seems to have more pages on these two same page count on worship title.
While the WEA is not greyed out, I do recall that I purchased that in the past.

I wasn't aware of this 3-vol. set till I came across this thread.
I own the WEA.
As Mark Barnes said both it and the 3-vols. set are greyed out for me.
So I can't order it even if I want to.
So DAL must be right that those who own the WEA will receive the 3-vols. set as free upgrade.
If you own the WEA Collection the three volumes in the Wipf and Stock Collection will be updated and the Pre-Pub should be greyed out. If it is not greyed out, you don't own the WEA Collection. That the Wipf and Stock Collection contains the same resources is indicated on product page on the right hand side:
